Kiva draws on the meander pattern, a motif that turns up again and again in nature and in primitive art and architecture, from coral growth to carved stonework. Its continuous, winding line folds back on itself in tight turns, filling the surface edge to edge with no clear start or end, closer to a maze than a repeat. There's no symmetry to anchor it, so the eye keeps tracing the path without ever resolving it, giving the design a restless, organic energy. It's a pattern that feels ancient and elemental at once, at home wherever a room wants texture with a bit of movement.
